I got to watch a rare live Leeds game in the early hours (Malaysia time) this morning. Despite trailing to a Northampton goal Leeds got a lucky break when the referee awarded a penalty following a challenge on Jonny Howson in the box. Andy Robinson levelled from the spot.
But the 5 1/2 year winless streak continued as Leeds could not find a way past the 10-man visitors and now have to travel to Sixfields.
Fabian Delph was quite impressive but I felt the manager should have used a couple of subs by the 60th minute when it was obvious Leeds were never going to find another goal. Robinson was busy but I thought he did not look sharp and his numerous shots were mostly speculative at best.
Well no joy for me and thousands of fellow fans.
