Jermaine Beckford grabbed a clinical double as 10-man Leeds United defeated Swindon Town 3-1 in an ill-tempered County Ground clash despite the sending-off of defender Alan Sheehan for a foul on Jon-Paul McGovern after just eight minutes.
Beckford gave Leeds the lead after 21 minutes with his ninth goal of the season but Simon Cox equalised for Swindon on the stroke of half-time. Neil Kilkenny restored United's advantage shortly after the restart and Beckford clinched it with his second late on.
Leeds climb to fourth spot just five points behind leaders Oldham.
