David Prutton all but confirmed Leeds' spot in the play-offs as Millwall were sent back into the relegation dogfight after a 2-0 home loss.
The ex-Nottingham Forest man Prutton volleyed home after 70 minutes and Leeds midfielder Andy Hughes added to the Lions' misery eight minutes later to seal the deal as Millwall slumped to within four points of safety.
With the victory, Leeds remain four points ahead of 7th place team Brighton, who won 2-1 at home to Hartlepool, in the race for the final play-off spot
