Leeds moved into the play-off places after a comfortable 2-0 win over Leyton Orient at Brisbane Road to stay on course for the League One play-offs.
Leeds went ahead in the 16th minute when Bradley Johnson put the final touch to a Neil Kilkenny free-kick following a handling offence by Charlie Daniels.
In the 50th minute, Jermaine Beckford clinched the points when Dougie Freedman escaped on the left and laid a clear chance in his path for his 20th league goal of the season.
Leaders Swansea were beaten at home by two late Bournemouth goals in the 90th and 92nd minute but second spot Carlisle closed the gap on Swansea to four points with a 2-1 win over Yeovil thanks to an injury-time strike from Scott Dobie.
