FA Cup Fifth Round

The shock of the day was at Anfield where mighty Reds were Championship side Barnsley stunned the Kop with a 2-1 win, the winner coming in the dying seconds when Brian Howard scored.

Chelsea had no such problems as they knocked out League One team Huddersfield 3-1 with a Frank Lampard brace and the third goal from Kalou.

Man. Utd. thrashed ten-man Arsenal 4-0 at home where Eboue was sent off after 49 minutes.

In other matches West Brom hammered Coventry away 5-0 to ease into the next round and Bristol Rovers knocked out a poor Southampton side 1-0 at home. Cardiff beat Wolves 2-0 with ex-Leeds hitman Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink scoring the second goal.
