It ain't over till it's over! England are gifted a lifeline as Israel beat a mediocre Russian side 2-1 in Tel Aviv. And so all England needs to do is get at least a draw in their home game against Croatia on Wednesday.
I certainly expected Russia to get at least a draw but their loss is England's gain. Whether the English can wrap up things or contrive to lose and allow Russia a second chance, I would love another surprise.
