A Jermaine Beckford brace helped Leeds boost their League One promotion hopes with a 4-0 thumping of neighbours Huddersfield at Elland Road.
He grabbed two goals and his finishing was the difference between the teams as Huddersfield gave a full debut to 17-year-old keeper Alex Smithies in front of the biggest crowd at this level since 1971 - 32,501.
Huddersfield settled first and were playing the better football, but for all their dominance Jonathan Douglas fired the hosts ahead after 24 minutes firing a long-range shot in which flew off the greasy surface.
Still Town dominated - Phil Jevons volleying inches wide - but it was Leeds who had the more dangerous finishers.
Four minutes after the break Beckford showed his lethal touch when he slid in at the near post to clip home David Prutton's cross - and he was in the right spot to stab home the third on 69 minutes after Smithies pulled off a brilliant save to deny Prutton.
Huddersfield were a beaten side by then, but they did not deserve to concede a fourth three minutes from time from a tap-in by substitute Tore Andre Flo.
